A week of female-founded "les finds"

The cozy edition

The theme of the past week or so has been cozy on the outside, cozy on the inside. Let me explain. The multi-day intense LA rainstorms in the first half of last week had me craving thick, fuzzy sweatshirts and socks. Anything that was soft, layer-able, and enveloping-me-able was sure to put a smile on my face. And now, the long-awaited reunion with two of my closest friends from college is in full swing. There’s nothing like being surrounded by the friends who stood by your side as you navigated your entry into the realities of pre-adulthood (i.e., college), and your first steps into actual adulthood (i.e., the real world). The level of contentment I feel when in the presence of their energy, coupled with the range of silly memories these individuals resurface, is nothing short of pure joy. It’s especially hard these days to carve out time together when we’re living on the other side of the world and country from one another. This time together has me feeling all cozy on the inside.

Beyond Yoga On the Go Joggers - founded by Jodi Guber Brufsky and Michelle Wahler and consistently recognized for some of the softest athletic and athleisure fabrics around: I purchased these over the holiday period because I needed some new sweatpants and wanted to branch out beyond gray and black. I’ve been living in this white pair at the end of the workday. I love that they’re a little thicker and not too long on my 5’ 2” frame.

My friend has especially loved the soft texture and warmth. I woke up this morning and she had it wrapped around her full body while working. I love the fact that this is more oversized because it’s perfect for sharing.

Lauren Manoogian Double Face Long Coat - founded by Lauren Manoogian: This is currently on my wish list. I’ve seen it in a few LA boutiques and every time I try it on, it’s like being hugged. I mean, the image below provides the ultimate visual. The shape and fabric are beautiful. I especially love it in black melange.
