"Beach please!" for summer accessory inspiration

I’ve never been one for “theme” dressing….

However, I’d be lying to myself (and all of you) if I didn’t admit that I’m currently lusting over playful jewelry and accessories that celebrate the beach-y vibes that accompany summer. For now, I’m going to blame my desires on the very rainy LA winter that was followed by “May Gray” and “June Gloom.” With July around the corner, and the heatwave this past weekend, summer is officially here. And all I can think about is some seashell pizazz (cue jazz hands!).

So here’s some of the inspiration I’ve been bookmarking - all under $150.

Jenny Bird Petra Earrings: Aren’t pearls & shells such a lovely combo?! I keep revisiting these beauties, which means I’m getting targeted with them as well. It’s an endless, yet inspiring, loop. They also come in gold. And these Dylan Earrings are gorgeous with a pendant necklace to complement.

Mejuri Seashell Studs: Currently sold out, but I would encourage you to add yourself to the waitlist. These also have a matching pendant that can be moved across various chains. I love it as an addition to a dainty pearl chain.

Ben-Amun 24K Gold-Plated Shell Earrings: A more literal interpretation of the Mejuri pair for the same price. These are super cute too, but sell for $165 (slightly above budget for this endeavor).

Heaven Mayhem Shell Gold-Plated Earrings: These are a pair that could easily be worn year-round. They also come in silver. Note that they aren’t expected to ship until the end of July.

J.Crew Shell Hair Clips: Sold in a pack of two so you don’t even have to deliberate over which color to buy. I also love this single shell clip from Roller Rabbit.

Zoe Chico 14K Single Itty Bitty Shell Stud Earring: Perfect for an everyday wear that will survive salt water and sunscreen. Currently 20% off at Saks.
