In honor of a request I received from a friend, I put together this post to share some Amazon finds with you ahead of Prime Day. While I can’t guarantee that items will be part of Prime Day promotions, I can promise that the items curated here aim to be a blend of aesthetically pleasing, high quality, and practical. These are all items I’ve purchased previously and use regularly.
Living Room Styling
Agnes Martin, Independence of Mind - The perfect, soft white coffee table book. Agnes Martin was an American abstract painter who embraced minimalism and expressionism. Both her art and the cover exude a calm quality that can be difficult to source. Within this book, her art is paired with a series of essays by other artists and writers.
Monocle Book of Japan - Not only does it make for a beautiful home addition in white and gold, we have regularly used this book for inspiration and guidance as we plan our return to Japan.
Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz - The tan linen cover and contrasting berry red pages make this book a statement in and of itself. The content is an anthology of over 350 fashion images that were mainly shot for Vogue - many of which were never published. I love the fanciful nature of the photos.
Graf Lantz Merino Wool Coasters - We have these on almost every surface of our home in various shades of gray and brown. I can’t recommend them enough because they never risk scratching a surface and they do a great job soaking up condensation from icy drinks.
Modern Sprout Brass Watering Can - We use this throughout our house and it sits next to the tree in our living room, subtly incorporating it into the decor. We love the fact that the finish is more muted (vs. shiny) and it’s slightly larger than other home watering cans so you don’t have to continually refill it with every plant.
Beauty & Gifting
Supergoop! SPF 30 Mint Lip Balm - We typically remember to put sunscreen on our faces throughout the summer, but often forget that our lips need some love too. I strongly prefer the mint option over the acai.
Supergoop! SPF 50 Mousse - My go-to body sunscreen. The mousse makes it easy to apply so you know that you haven’t missed a spot and the formula isn’t greasy. I’ve linked the 3 oz. travel sized option for summer and here is the full size.
Mighty Patch Invisible+ Patches from Hero Cosmetics - An invention I desperately wish existed in my teens. These patches are nothing short of magic when it comes to calming a blemish. These are also definitely part of the Prime Day sale.
Silk Hair Ties - Not a day goes by that I don’t have one of these in my hair or on my wrist. I especially love the fact that these aren’t branded, so they provide a clean look.
Boy Smells Votive Candle 3-Pack - This is a guest favorite in our house and they’re perfect for traveling. The floral options are great for the summer and the woody ones pair well with fall and winter.
On the Go
EO Hand Cleansing Wipes - These have a permanent place in my travel bags. I use them to wipe down airline seats and tray tables. When I was traveling a few weeks ago, a guy two rows away asked for one because he found the lavendar scent calming.
Delfonics Quitterie Pouch - A friend of mine gave me one of these pouches years ago and I have kept it in my work bag to hold some essentials. It remains in great condition and feels indestructible. I can’t say the same for more expensive pouches I’ve acquired.
Self Care
The Five Minute Journal - This helps you easily jumpstart a daily journal practice. I started using this when I was going through a challenging time and fully believe that the 5-minute morning and night reflections provided meaningful clarity. This also looks chic on your nightstand.
LePen - Of course, the author of Le Find would use a LePen. Our favorite pens…and Brendan, in particular, is a very picky pen user.
Glass Water Bottle - For me, the best type of water bottles are dishwasher safe - enter this beauty. I also purchased an ice cube tray specifically made for narrow-top water bottles which are strongly preferred since a big splash to the face while on the treadmill is not my favorite.
Sonicare Battery Toothbrush - On a whim, I added this to Brendan’s stocking at Christmas and he has told me that it’s the best gift I have ever given him. While I still don’t fully know how to interpret that comment, I can promise you that this is a lovely option for everyday and traveling. It also comes in a rechargeable version, but those appear to currently be sold out.
And One Final Random Addition
Clear Trash Can - I prefer my bathroom trash cans to be aesthetically pleasing, so I don’t want unsightly trash bags wrapped over the top. I purchased these to place inside of the woven baskets I sourced. This keeps everything clean.
Happy shopping and saving!
