Hello my wonderful readers,
The holiday season is almost upon us…in fact it feels like it has already arrived with alarming speed. Just a week ago, I was in Japan and Halloween decor and costumes were everywhere. Now in LA, the retail stores have holiday garland, ornaments, Christmas trees, and pine-scented candles. My inbox is also teeming with gift guide email subject lines from brands, influencers, and celebrities.
Although sending out a series of gift guides may sound redundant, I’d like to approach the opportunity a bit differently. I started this newsletter in part to share with you brilliant products and services created by female founders. It’s important to me because embarking on the entrepreneurial journey is both terrifying and challenging, but for women, the data shows that the mountains to scale are often taller and steeper than average.
I’m always trying to be more conscious of where my dollars are being spent and this holiday season my goal is to put more of them toward women entrepreneurs.
Over the next couple of weeks (and absolutely before the Black Friday and Cyber Monday craziness), I’ll be sharing a few curated gift guides featuring female-founded or women-led goods. If you’ve discovered some incredible products that fit within this definition, I would love for you to share in the comments or feel free to reach out to me directly on my instagram @jenzablotny. The more ideas, the greater the impact.

If you have not discovered Classic Six it is a must!! The collection is reasonable and excellent quality. Even if you are not curating a capsule closet the pieces will fit into any woman’s closet. I love the founder and her approach and styling.
Dorsey for lab created jewelry. Very classic yet wow pieces and like Classic Six the Founders story is fabulous. Doesn’t hurt that her Grandmother namesake for the company reminded me of mine.
Paris 64. Spanish leather designed in a Parisienne style. I bought my first bag and am very impressed. And for me personally it does not look like anything anyone in my area is carrying.
Violette.fr for her beauty collections. Plus her old YouTube videos are the best.
Allison Bornstein’s new book. Wear it well. I’m not finished with it yet but certainly might gift it to friends.
